Main Creek Bower Bed and Breakfast
About This Listing
Established in 1998, MAIN CREEK BOWER BED AND BREAKFAST is a luxury cabin style facility nestled in its own private rainforest setting in the picturesque Tanawha Valley at the foot of Buderim Mountain on the beautiful Sunshine Coast.
This facility consists of the hosts accommodation being that of a relocated 1920-1930 ‘Asgrovian Queenslander’ with the guests accommodation separately attached via a covered verandah and an open deck. The air-conditioned Guest Cabin which in a former life had the honourable distinction of being a Church Hall, resides peacefully within a fully landscaped native garden. Bird and animal life abounds from the cheeky kookaburras, butcher birds and scrub turkeys to the resident water dragons.
This accommodation is both children and pet friendly. Guests however are requested to use the verandah, back deck or the garden when smoking. A large ashtray is provided for smokers use. We would further wish to bring to guests’ attention that we have a resident dog population which are kept at a discreet distance from guests.
MAIN CREEK BOWER BED AND BREAKFAST offers to its guests a heightened degree of privacy with their own lounge area (equipped with CD, DVD, players, remote control TV, numerous board games, books and magazines) and a breakfast area (equipped with refrigerator, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave oven and cutlery and crockery). There is also a gas fired barbeque for guests use, situated on the back deck within easy reach of the cabin.
A hot menu-style breakfast is delivered to your door each morning of your stay.
The interconnecting king and twin bedrooms with associated double sofa bed facilities and shower ensuite bathroom (equipped with hairdryer, a range of bathroom amenities and cosy bathrobes), ideally are suited to the requirements of a large or extended family/group of up to 6 persons. However if you are a single person or a couple the above facilities are yours alone.
